Metasploit for Pentesting

Georgia Weidman from Neohapsis, Inc will be teaching a 4 hour session on using Metaploit for penetration testing.

This class will begin with the basics of using the Metasploit Framework. We will continue on following a penetration test methodology for using Metasploit to exploit vulnerable systems in a lab environment. This class is suitable for those with no background in Metasploit or penetration testing as well as experienced or novice penetration testers who want to add the Metasploit Framework to their arsenal.

Attendees will need a computer capable of running virtual machines. Having vmware or virtual box already installed would be helpful but no one ever reads directions anyways! In addition to virtual machines, the student handout will have installers for vmware trials or free versions depending on platforms.
